I have been to several car museums all over the country and have done many of the car shows including the Hot Rod Power Tour (Long hauler). I would HIGHLY recommend this museum. It is fantastic! This museum has a wide range of brands and models. An amazing collection of vintage toys (cars and others). It’s FREE, pet friendly, family friendly, air conditioned (would be great as a stop for the Hot Rod Power Tour), does host events and offers storage for cars. It has some very rare cars in the collection. I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to take my kids back to it soon.

This was the most awesome car collection I have ever seen in my life. I saw his previous collection before he added many more to it and I was in awe then too. His collection of toys is just phenomenal. I know I didn’t get to see everything so I will be going back. The story behind his collection and all is definitely a neat one. The Johnny Carson Mercedes car and story was pretty cool too. And don’t miss the Grateful Dead truck.

I travel the country for work, and everywhere I go…. I seek out car museums to check out. I have been to MANY, including some of the biggest, fanciest ones that everyone knows about. This museum is the BEST free museum I have ever been to. Bar none. And even compared to the museums that charge money to enter, it would still be in the top 10… Maybe even top 5.A great selection of cars, laid out in a very pleasant way. An amazing selection of toys, including some very rare stuff I have never seen before. And theirs much more than just that. This is a 100% must see museum for anyone visiting DFW.My only complaints are that the soda/snack machines credit card readers don’t work, and that the Vehicross definitely shouldn’t be in the “cars that shouldnt have been made” wing. Move it over to the Japan wing, and give it the respect it deserves!

Loved it. It’s much larger than it appears from outside. We spent almost an hour and a half here, and easily could have spent more. They are currently free, but it would be well worth paid admission. They are adding new displays, so we plan on returning. I would recommend going early, as every time we have driven by later, they are packed.
